Over the past year alone, I’ve helped my clients plan for so many experiences

17 November 2024

Not purchases as such.

Nothing that retains value aside from the memories, which live on forever.

Visiting Hemingway’s house in the Keys.

Taking grandchildren to Disneyland.

Reducing working days to pursue photography on the free days.

All have a financial cost.

All have been absolutely worth it.

Because whilst I can harp on about the AF, CF, and RO qualifications that I’ve taken.

My real qualification is understanding the LO and DO.

We only Live Once.

We only Die Once.

Financial planning isn’t about building a giant pot of money.

It’s about ensuring that the life you Live Once is enriched with experiences, memories, and meaningful relationships.

And that when you Die Once, your legacy is left exactly as you want it to be.

Yesterday, me and seven of my closest friends, whom I’ve known since I was eleven years old, chipped in £75 each and took a boat along the coast of Dubrovnik.

The laughs, an image of us all swimming in the Adriatic, and a sheer moment of terror towards the end…

A £75 investment which will pay dividends in the form of memories and conversations forever.
